LiLo’s father ‘upset’ over arrest warrant

London: Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael Lohan was ‘disheartened and upset’ after he came to know that an arrest warrant was issued for his daughter over breaching the terms of her bail.

Judge Marsha Revel issued a bench warrant for her arrest after reports emerged that the ‘Mean Girls’ star’s alcohol monitoring ankle bracelet began flashing during an MTV Movie Awards after party in Los Angeles on June 06.

Now, the actress’ father has appealed judge Revel to recall the arrest warrant, insisting she needs help.

"I do not want this girl in jail, she does not belong there. I beg the court, the DA (District Attorney) and Lindsay`s lawyer to finally listen to me and entertain my proposal to get Lindsay help, the help she needs,” the Daily Star reported Michael as telling Access Hollywood.

A triggered alarm would have constituted a violation of the 23-year-old star’s bail agreement.

But Lohan`s representative, David Perez, put down 13,300 pounds towards her 133,000 pound bond, and the arrest warrant was recalled.
