Washington: Lindsay Lohan is back in LA for a court hearing that could see her probation getting revoked.
The ‘Liz and Dick’ actress will be charged with the criminal offense of lying to police, TMZ.com reported. She claimed that she was not behind the wheel of her Porsche when it crashed into a 18-wheeler on the Pacific Coast Highway in June. Lohan claims that her assistant Gavin Doyle was the one behind the wheel of her Porsche during the crash. He and several witnesses later told police it was in fact the troubled star who was driving. Sources said that the Santa Monica City Attorney will be ready to file a criminal case over the next few days, and it will then go to LA County Superior Court judge Jane Godfrey for arraignment. The insiders said that once the troubled starlet is charged, Judge Godfrey will revoke her probation and schedule a full hearing to about the violation. Lohan has been on probation since her jewelry theft incident in July 2011, for which she was sentenced to 120 days in prison and 480 hours of community service. She could face jail time if convicted.
