Los Angeles: Troubled star Lindsay Lohan might see an end to her rehab worries sooner than expected as a judge is to issue ruling about her release today, a day earlier than scheduled.
The `Mean Girls` star was jailed on July 10 for breaching her probation stemming from a 2007 DUI arrest.
She was handed out a punishment of 90 days to be spent in rehab and is currently being treated at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, a news website reported.
The decision if Lohan can leave the centre early will be given by Judge Elden Fox, following calls from her lawyers to reduce her stay.
Doctors at the rehab facility don`t think that the 24-year-old`s psychiatric problems are severe and she will leave the sober house and begin getting outpatient care this week.
Lohan checked into the UCLA facility soon after she was released from the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California on August 2.
She was ordered to complete 90-day in the rehab facility and will face another term in prison if she violates her probation.
Once she completes her rehab stint, she will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing until August 2011, when her probation term ends.
