New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan had a tough time lately with his statement on intolerance rubbing people on the wrong side. However, that has little shaken his confidence to face the limelight at any stage.
According to India.com, the actor, who was present at the Maharashtra Night event at Mumbai’s Make In India Week, was seen shaking a leg on Marathi number composed by Ajay-Atul. Quite a performer! The report further states that he had prepared for his act in advance and it was the curtain raiser at the event.
The Maharashtra Night was a cultural program that led to the opining of the state’s campaign. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan also graced the occasion with his opening speech. Bachchan senior recited a poem by Prasoon Joshi that described the beauty of Maharashtra, reportedly.
Incidentally, fire broke out on Sunday during a performance of Maharashtra's Lavani folk dance at the mega event at Girgaum Chowpatty beach. At least 14 fire tenders and 10 water tankers were rushed to the site. The stage was completely burnt down and the show was stopped midway, reportedly.
Aamir Khan will next be seen in 'Dangal'.
