New York: Singer Mariah Carey has dropped out of her latest movie, Tyler Perry’s adaptation of Ntozake Shange’s 1975 play "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf," just days before filming was scheduled to begin, fueling rumors that she is pregnant.
"She is not doing the movie because her doctor advised her not to," her rep told UsMagazine.com. "More than that I cannot comment further."
Earlier this month, Cannon had hinted that a baby is not out of the question after sometime, reports The New York Daily News.
"Her schedule is starting to calm down, you never know..." he told usmagazine.com. "In the next year or two, the rumors might come true."
Carey and Cannon, 29, have been married for two years.
