Mel B`s hubby in vicious brawl with drinker at posh London hotel

London: Melanie Brown’s hubby Stephen Belafonte got into a vicious brawl with a drinker at a posh London hotel this week.

Half-naked Belafonte grappled with a blood-soaked drinker as the former Spice Girl looked on in horror. Late-night customers scattered as shaven-headed Belafonte traded punches with another baldie and two pals in the bar of the 2,500-pound-a-night May Fair Hotel as staff desperately tried to pull them apart. The fracas ended with police and paramedics called to the scene as Belafonte’s main opponent emerged with blood pouring down his face after apparently banging his head on a coffee table. Six-foot Belafonte - in Britain with Mel to promote their new reality TV show, It’s A Scary World - appeared shaken but uninjured. The unnamed casualty was taken to hospital by ambulance and stitched up. "It just exploded into violence. They were big lads and it all went crazy,” News of the World quoted a drinker, who saw the whole drama, as saying "Mel B was standing there dumbstruck. They’d all been chilling out in the bar and suddenly everything went mad," the witness said. There were no arrests after Thursday’s punch-up and last night everybody involved was anxious to play it down. ANI
