London: Singer Michael Buble's three-year-old son Noah has reportedly been diagnosed with liver cancer.

According to a magazine, Gente, doctors in Los Angeles have confirmed the news to 41-year-old singer and his actress wife Luisana Lopilato after doing a liver biopsy of their son followed by an initial examination at a clinic in Buenos Aires, reported Daily Mirror.

Buble's son is also said to have started chemotherapy, which is going to last four months.

Lopilato's elder sister Daniela last night told the magazine that, "If God wanted it to be discovered that way, it's because he wants to save Noah. Cancer is a horrible illness but we have faith in Noah being able to overcome this. We know he will.

"The time to start a long and very difficult treatment has come but it's got to be done. They say children are normally strong to put up with chemotherapy and my nephew is a warrior."
