Actor Michael Caine will be honoured at a special event, where clips from his most famous movies will be played on screen, while their musical scores will be performed by the London Symphony Orchestra.

London: Actor Michael Caine will be honoured at a special event, where clips from his most famous movies will be played on screen, while their musical scores will be performed by the London Symphony Orchestra.The 81-year-old actor will be interviewed live on stage at the Royal Albert Hall by UK chat show host Jonathan Ross during the event, entitled `A Night Out With... Sir Michael Caine`, reported a magazine.
British singer-songwriters Joss Stone and Lance Ellington will deliver renditions of tracks from his films `Alfie`, `Dirty Rotten Scoundrels` and `The Italian Job`, while his other friends from the industry will drop by to honour Caine. Tickets go on sale on 5 August and the event will take place on 1 October this year. All profits from the evening will go to the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.
