Michael Douglas joins list of Oscar presenters
Washington: Michael Douglas will be one of the presenters at the 84th Academy Awards ceremony on February 26, according to the producers of this year’s awards show.
The producers Brian Grazer and Don Mischer announced Douglas’ participation on Monday, CBS News reported.
The two-times Oscar winner will be joining a roster of presenters that includes Halle Berry, Bradley Cooper, Tom Cruise, Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Tina Fey, Tom Hanks, Angelina Jolie, Milla Jovovich, Jennifer Lopez, Melissa McCarthy, Chris Rock, Ben Stiller, Emma Stone and Kristen Wiig, as well as Muppets Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy.
As a producer the 67-year-old won a Best Picture Oscar for ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’ (1975), and as a performer won the Best Actor Oscar for Oliver Stone’s ‘Wall Street’ (1987).
