MJ’s kids taken to safe house after being `ambushed` by relatives
London: Michael Jackson’s kids have been whisked away to a “secure location,” after they were “ambushed” by their late father’s three siblings, who claim that the singer’s will is fake.
Police were called to their LA mansion after a fight broke out, as the war over the late singer’s fortune turned physical.
A lawyer for Jackson’s mother Katherine, who is the legal guardian of the kids, confirmed that 15-year-old Prince, 14-year-old Paris and 10-year-old Blanket, have been taken to a safe house.
It is believed that Michael’s siblings, 57-year-old Jermaine, 46-year-old Janet, and 50-year-old Randy had tried to take the children from their house.
According to reports, Janet slapped Paris and called her “spoiled little b****.”
Paris is said to have responded with a slap of her own, saying: “This is our house. Not the Jackson family house. Get the f*** out!”
Meanwhile, scared Prince dialled the emergency number 911 while his bodyguard was involved in a punch-up with the Jackson men.
The ‘Thriller’ hitmaker had left his entire estate to his mother and his children but fears over her health have led the Jackson family members to wonder if she was well enough to have control over the money.
“Certain Jackson family members ambushed Katherine’s home after their vehicle tore through security gates on the tail of the SUV containing Michael’s children,” the Daily Star quoted Katherine’s lawyer Sandra Ribera as saying.
“Jackson family members ran up to Michael’s children and began to aggressively grab at the cell phones in their hands.
“Out of concern for their well-being the children had to leave their home,” she said.
The fight happened after Katherine was reported missing after she failed to contact her grandchildren for over a week.
She later turned up in Arizona where Jermaine claimed that she had been resting on her doctor’s orders.
It has been claimed that she was being kept from phones and computers so that she got complete rest.
A photograph of her playing cards with her 62-year-old daughter Rebbie was released by the family.
But Paris was still very worried and spoke of her lack of contact with her grandmother, tweeting: “8 days and counting.”
“Something is really off, this isn’t like her at all. I wanna talk directly to my grandmother!” she wrote.
