London: Michael Jackson’s older brother Jermaine has for the first time revealed how he once saved the late King of Pop from drowning.
He made the revelation in a new episode of the Biography Channel’s ‘Celebrity Close Calls’ due to air later this year. Jermaine rescued the ‘Thriller’ singer who was pulled under water by fierce rip tides after going for a moonlight swim during family celebrations at his beachside mansion in Malibu. The 56-year-old singer and composer revealed how he grabbed his floundering brother and hauled him to shore. He gave Jackie mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, but had to take him to the hospital. “He needed hospital treatment immediately,” the Daily Star quoted him as saying. Doctors found an air bubble had burst in a lung. “It had been a life or death situation,” Jermaine added. ANI
