Mumbai: Pakistani singer-composer Adnan Sami has landed in trouble once again. The Mumbai Police have issued a notice to Sami after his visa expired. The Mumbai Police also directed the Pakistani singer to appear before them. Sami has been given 30 days of time, by the Mumbai police to regularise his visa. Maharashtra Navnirman Chitrapat Karmachari Sena (MNCKS), the film wing of the Raj Thackeray-led MNS, had on Monday asked Adnan to leave the country, saying he was illegally staying in the country after his visa expired. The MNCKS even demanded the authorities concerned not to grant him an extension on the visa. The matter came to fore after Adnan told a family court that he had a Pakistani passport and was residing in India on the basis of visa granted to him from time to time. Sami also claimed that his visa was valid from September 26, 2012 till October 6, 2013. Notably, the Pakistan singer is entangled in a legal battle with his ex wife Sabah Galadari over the possession of a duplex flat in Lokhandwala Complex. Ever since, the MNS has been voicing its opinion and demanding termination the singer’s stay in India. Pic Courtesy: en.wikipedia.org
