London: It has emerged that the lawyers of the late Michael Jackson`s doctor are fighting to see the rehearsal footage from the star`s posthumous concert film in a hope that the tapes will shed light on the pop star’s ill health.
Dr Conrad Murray`s legal team believes that outtake showing Jackson rehearsing in LA will show that the King of Pop was in ill health before he died on June 25 2009, reports the Daily Mail. However, record company Sony has claimed that the material should not be handed over. They will appear in court to argue against the request. The defence wants to show that Jackson`s health was already poor. Murray`s lawyers want to examine in detail more than 100 hours of raw footage of Jackson``s concert rehearsals. Murray is charged with involuntary manslaughter in Jackson`s death from an overdose of the anaesthetic propofol and other sedatives. ANI
