My camaraderie with Vikram stopped at bedroom door: Ash
Mumbai: Any iota of doubt over Aishwarya and Abhishek’s relationship would end after the statement they made at the Cannes Film Festival this year. Bollywood’s power couple said that their bonding is truly special and it is very much based on a rock solid foundation.
Considering the 200-day-long shoot while making ‘Raavan’, where Ash had to spend more on-screen and off-screen time with her co-star Vikram, with this statement, they have sought to kill any rumours of their marriage hitting rough waters.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan told reporters that they`re so used to working together that the particularly difficult conditions on the set of ‘Raavan’ hadn`t sown any seeds of matrimonial discord.
Sharing her thoughts about her conjugal bliss, Ash says, “It was special: When you have a long, tiring day on a daily basis for a long schedule, you come home and you have each other. There was a slight advantage there, but the days were long, so you`d really be so bushed and the next morning was so early that you barely had any time for any T.L.C.”
Film ‘Raavan’ was shot on a huge canvas. Aishwarya adds that she and her husband made a conscious effort not to leave out their Tamil co-star Vikran from the bonhomie and often used to dine and hang out with him.
Nevertheless, Ash judiciously adds, “Just to set the record straight: that was purely professional that we included him in everything, before we all let our imaginations go wild. The camaraderie stopped at the bedroom door. Beyond that, it was the two of us.``
