My daughter is black because of one-drop theory: Halle Berry

New York: Halle Berry has said that her two-year-old daughter, who is at the centre of a bitter custody battle, is black because of the ‘one-drop theory’.Berry spoke quite bluntly about her relationship with Nahla and how she views her daughter.

"I feel like she``s black," the New York Daily News quoted the actress as telling Ebony magazine. "I`m black and I`m her mother, and I believe in the one-drop theory," Berry said, referencing the 20th-century law that classified anyone as black if they had any African ancestry. ANI
