My next bunch of movies is versatile, says Akshay Kumar
Mumbai: With the release of Akshay Kumar’s latest film ‘Khatta Meetha’, the actor is yet again being accused of being repetitive. Now the question arises as to what exactly should Akki do to make people go quiet about the allegations? Well, on being enquired, this is what the actor had to say:
"Go quiet? Now that`s impossible", Akshay comes up with a hearty laugh and continues, "I could have played a one armed blind man and people would still say that I was playing the same old character doing the same old scripts. It`s okay, people`s negative opinions don`t affect me really, they amuse me a lot, though. It keeps me focused. I know that in Housefull, I played a very straight faced, unlucky, useless and an Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) kind of a character. Not once in my career have I played all of that in one movie, if at all. Still, people are free to say what they want."
Without stopping, Akshay added, "I literally try and change just about everything I can in all my movies. However, if it`s my face that people want to change then I`m afraid I can`t afford plastic surgery (smiles). Anyway I can assure you that my next bunch of movies is so versatile that I am actually looking forward to hearing what people have to say next."
Guess with Akshay’s upcoming films like ‘Action Replaay’, ‘Patiala House’, ‘Tees Maar Khan’ and ‘Thank You’, the actor will break the mould for the best.
