Wellington: Pop icon Lady Gaga has revealed that her main ambition is to maintain her musical success and integrity.
She even stands by the creative choices she has made in her music.
The 24-year-old hopes to continue the massive success she encountered following the release of her albums in 2008 and 2009, reports Stuff.co.nz.
Gaga, who used to pen songs for other established artists and made a living as a songwriter before rising to fame, said she was just grateful to get the chance to express her musical talents.
"I never thought it wouldn’t happen because I felt like it was happening. Even now I don``t have an ultimate goal, my goal is just to continue making music and to continue to have integrity and stand by for what I do," she revealed in a recent radio interview.
She then added, "I will never apologise for any creative choices that I make, because that is what ‘Born This Way’ is about - it’s being unapologetically strong and fierce about the human being that you are. I was really happy to be writing for other artists, and happy people liked the music I was making."
