Narendra Modi’s demonetisation masterstroke: What did Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan say?

Mumbai: The Khan trinity of Bollywood – Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan – has hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to demonetise Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes in order to fight black money and corruption.

Here’s taking a look at what each of the Khans said about the PM’s masterstroke:

Aamir Khan

“It is more important to agree with what is good for nation. We should not see it's short term impact. What is necessary for the country needs to be done. If my film is getting affected, it is a small thing,” IANS quoted the actor as saying during launch of a song from his film Dangal.

Shah Rukh Khan

“Farsighted. Extremely smart. And not politically motivated. Will bring such a positive change for Indian economy. Great move @narendramodi”

Salman Khan

"iss hafte kaale dhan par dhanaadan vaar padi. It is a fantastic move and hats off to Modi ji..,” Salman said while interacting with the inmates of Bigg Biss season 10 during the weekend episode, TOI reported.

The demonetisation plan has been executed to uproot fake currencies from circulation, counter terrorism, trap black money hoarders and people indulging in corruption. The plan is causing temporary inconvenience to people but will benefit the nation and its citizens in the long run.
