Naseeruddin Shah apologises for his remarks on Rajesh Khanna, daughter Twinkle thanks supporters

Twinkle Khanna thank fans for supporting her over Naseeruddin Shah's remark over Rajesh Khanna.

New Delhi: Twinkle Khanna was visibly upset after veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah made distasteful remarks about her late father Rajesh Khanna during an interview with a leading publication.

However, soon after realising that he had upset a number of people by his comments on India’s first superstar, Shah reportedly apologised for his remarks.

According to a tweet published by India Today Flash, Shah said, "I apologise to those who were personally offended, my intention was not to attack him (Rajesh Khanna).

Nonetheless, Twinkle seems to be thoroughly upset with Shah as his apology cannot probably undo the damage that has been done.
