London: After spending more than a decade in Hollywood, Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman has said that she is “now” finally comfortable with her celebrity status.
The ‘Black Swan’ star Portman, who recently turned 30, made her big screen debut in ‘Leon’ back in 1994 when she was just 13.
“I’ve tended to be overly self-critical and it’s taken me a while to escape that kind of crippling attitude,” the Daily Express quoted her as telling Psychologies magazine.
“You’re constantly putting yourself up there to be judged and trashed.
“I’ve tried to stop thinking about that, so now I’m much more ready to try different things and be as daring as I possibly can,” she added.
