Nation’s superstar Amitabh Bachchan turns 68 today

New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan has crossed yet another milestone as he turns 68 today. The actor, who has had quite an eventful year as he won the prestigious Best Actor National Award for his act in ‘Paa’, is looking forward to a cosy birthday celebration with his friends and family. But that’s not all that the superstar is looking forward to. With his yet another innings on TV set to begin today, Big B is much too excited for the opening of KBC 4. Talking about how he plans to spend his special day, Amitabh said, "I am going to be at home… I`ll be spending it with family". As for his son and daughter-in-law, Abhishek and Aishwarya, the actor stated they will be coming down from South Korea for his birthday. But, looks like his friends and family aren’t the only ones excited for his special day. Reports suggest that the channel has arranged a birthday bash for the actor. "I am not sure what the channel wants me to do. They want me to cut a cake or something like that because they just want to be a part of my birthday so that`s fine. I may go out and cut a cake or something like that. But generally I remain at home, I meet the family, be with them and yes if there are people who want to come and see me, then I go out and meet them," said Amitabh Asked how different it would be at 68, he said: "Well, every year is different. What can one say - I`ll be completing 68 and stepping into 69. It`s been 41 years in the industry. It`s a long time."
