Mumbai: Yet another case of casting couch has come to light involving Bollywood director Onir and newcomer Yuvraj Parashar who made his debut with a homosexuality based film ‘Dunno Y…Naa Jaane Kyun’. After the film’s lack luster show at the BO, the struggling actor approached director Onir for work, but after the meeting, the actor alleged that he was molested by the film director. The filmmaker has out rightly denied the allegations, giving compelling reasons to suggest that the encounter was mutual. It has now emerged that the director of sensitive films like ‘My Brother Nikhil’ and ‘Bas Ek Pal’ is now filing a defamation case against the actor. According to sources, Onir invited Yuvraj to his house after a discussion on a social networking site. Yuvraj went to his place with a copy of his last film’s CD, so that he could show his work which might help him getting a film offer from the director. But to the actor’s horror, he was sexually lynched by Onir. Speaking to a daily, Yuvraj said, “I went to meet him because he is a serious and senior director. But I didn`t know that I`d become a prey myself. I couldn`t stop him verbally, but I tried to tell him through my gestures that I am not interested.” To which Onir retorted, “I`m going to file a defamation case against Yuvraj as he`s doing this only for cheap publicity.” The director is clearly miffed and stricken at how his reputation is being maligned.
