Online ‘blood diamond’ video game mocking Naomi Campbell is a hit
London: Naomi Campbell’s courtroom appearance was a headliner for sure, but now, it has turned into an Internet rage too – with an online video game mocking the supermodel’s blood diamond case.
The 40-year-old British supermodel claimed at The Hague that she was woken in the night by two men and given a pouch containing stones, which turned out to be diamonds.
The prosecution claims Taylor gave some to Naomi after a dinner hosted by Nelson Mandela in South Africa in 1997.
Now, in the online game, players hurl gems at Naomi – both huge diamonds and “dirty looking stones”, as the model described them in court.
“Try and deliver diamonds to Naomi. She gets gifts all the time, even at night. Remember she hates dirty-looking pebbles and is used to big, sparkling diamonds in a box,” The Daily Express quoted the site Superfashionstars as telling visitors.
“The game is proving a real hit with our players,” said creator Nicolas Jacquart, of London firm Blouzar.
