New Delhi: Pakistani actors have been embraced by Bollywood with much warmth and love. After Fawad Khan and Imran Abbas, Mahira Khan is all set to make an impression on the Indian audience. But, do you remember the dashing hunk from across the border who was instrumental in initiating this trend? Well, we are talking about actor-singer Ali Zafar.

The 36-year-old heartthrob made his B-Town debut with 2010 release 'Tere Bin Laden' and, since then, he has been crossing borders for keeping up his professional endeavours.

Recently, according to a TOI report, originally attributed to BT, Ali opened heart about his country and how the Pakistani audience is perceived by the people.

"Pakistan is a beautiful country with beautiful people. We wish its positive side is shown to the world than what they are exposed to. I believe that people like me, who travel the world, have a responsibility to make our country proud and educate people about the things that they don't really get to see about us," he told the leading publication.

The 'Luv Ka The End' actor stated that he is always cautious about the roles he essays on-screen. He added, "even an artiste has certain responsibilities and he can't be selfish and think of only what he wants to do. My people have been very generous. They are more open-minded than they are perceived to be."

In India, Ali has worked in films like Katrina Kaif's 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan', Ranveer Singh's 'Kill Dil' and many more.
