Mumbai: Acting is in his blood, and he can do little to get rid of his inborn talent. Ranbir Kapoor is here to stay and has already paved the way for his super stardom, or so it seems.
However, Papa Rishi is not impressed with his acting prowess, for he believes Ranbir has lots to learn and miles to cover as an artist.
Talking to a leading daily, Rishi said, “Ranbir doesn`t like to portray characters which are larger than life. I am very proud that he took such challenges. But I don`t like his (Ranbir) films because as an actor I find flaws in them.”
Ranbir, who is carrying forward the legacy initiated by his great grand father, Prithviraj Kapoor, finds least interference from his parents when it comes to taking decisions.
“He is absolutely on his own and we never interfere in any of his decisions. When Ranbir joined the industry he told his mother that he wanted to portray characters which a boy of his age would do in real life,” said Rishi.
So, Ranbir, up your performance so that Papa Kapoor starts liking your films!
