Paris Hilton earns $1m for swimsuit appearance in Korean music video
London: Paris Hilton has been paid a whopping 1 million dollars for a two-day job that required her to wear a swimsuit in a Korean music video.
Despite a dismal dabble in music in the past, the 31-year-old actress beat top Hollywood stars such as Jessica Alba and Scarlett Johansson to get the job alongside singer Kim Jang Hoon.
The hotel heiress was required to don a bathing suit and heels to wander along Malibu beach in the two-day shot, the Sun reported.
“We considered several Hollywood stars, such as Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johansson and Paris Hilton, for the role of lead actress in Kim’s new music video,” Hoon’s agency said.
“But a survey conducted in Korea showed that Paris Hilton was the most well-known, so we chose her,” they said.
Posting a picture of herself with Hoon, Hikton had written on twitter this week: “Love these pics of me and Kim Jang Hoon. Such a nice guy and funny too! Had a great time shooting with him! (sic)”
The video for the ballad, which has been shot in 3-D, will be released on October 4.
