Washington: Robert Pattinson and Daniel Radcliffe will be going head to head at this year’s Teen Choice Awards.
‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ star will take on ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1’ actor in the Choice Movie Actor: Sci-Fi/Fantasy category, while their female co-stars Kristen Stewart and Emma Watson respectively are both up for the female version of the award, reports Contact Music.
The two films will also be gunning for the Choice Movie: Sci-Fi/Fantasy award.
Pattinson is up for four awards in total, including Choice Movie Actor: Drama for ‘Water for Elephants’ and Choice Movie: Liplock for his kiss with ‘Twilight’ actress Stewart.
In the latter category, Pattinson faces competition from his co-star Taylor Lautner, who has his own smooching scene with Stewart in ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’.
The hunky ‘Twilight’ pair even find themselves head to head in all three categories Lautner is nominated in, including the coveted Choice Male Hottie.
The winners of the Teen Choice 2011 awards will be chosen online by fans aged 13-19, and presented in a televised ceremony in the US on August 7.
