Pattinson sent Witherspoon glowing clothes to ensure her safety

Washington: Robert Pattinson reportedly sent Reese Witherspoon some glow-in-the-dark exercise clothes after he heard that she got hit by a car while out jogging.

The British actor was concerned for his ‘Water For Elephants’ co-star, so splashed out on a special gift to ensure she doesn’t suffer the same fate again.

The parcel contained reflective vests, wrist bands, tennis shoes and a hat - all of which were designed by Stella McCartney - and was sent to the actress’ house along with a note wishing her a speedy recovery.

“Reese was very touched by Rob’s gesture,” Contactmusic quoted a source as telling National Enquirer magazine.

“She intends to keep running and the gear will come in very handy when it’s dark outside,” the source added.

Reese - who recently married Hollywood agent Jim Toth - has been resting at home since the accident.
