Pattinson, Stewart seek police help to avoid paparazzi

Los Angeles: `Twilight` stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart turned to the police for help to shake off a pack of paparazzi from their trail.

The 24-year-old British actor and his rumoured girlfriend were travelling in a car together after landing at Los Angeles International Airport earlier this week, when they noticed several photographers weaving through traffic to follow them, reported a news website. The duo then pulled into a local police station, where they requested the cops` assistance. The officers helped the pair escape through another exit in the building without the snappers spotting them. Pattinson and Stewart, who play lovers in the hit vampire franchise, have repeatedly denied being in a romantic relationship. PTI
