London: They wed in a Hindu ceremony which bound them to each other for eternity but popstar Katy Perry and comedian Russell Brand have already hit a road block three months into their marriage and are reportedly seeking couples therapy.
Perry is reportedly seeking a marriage counselor to help smooth over troubles in her marriage as the couple are living increasingly separate lives, reported Life and Style online.
The trouble first made itself known shortly after British comedian Brand tweeted an unflattering picture of his make-up free wife last month.
The relationship has reportedly hit a rocky patch just as she heads off on a nine-month world tour and Perry has realized her relationship needs some attention.
The high profile couple had enjoyed a whirlwind romance and became engaged after just four months of dating in 2009. They married in a lavish six-day celebration in India ten months later.
To add to their woes they are going to be spending a lot of time apart in the coming nine months with Perry away on her `California Dreams` world tour which kicks off on February 20 and ends in November.
Brand`s commitments mean he will be filming the movie `Arthur` in New York at that time with co-star Jennifer Garner. But Perry has revealed she has scheduled in breaks to see one another during her 95-date international tour.
The `Firework` singer said she has designed it so that she gets the equivalent of one day off to see her husband for
every two night she performs.
