Washington: Pete Doherty has revealed that he wants “radical” legislation and tougher punishments to be introduced to protect the planet.
According to the Telegraph, the 32-year-old musician, who called for UK officials to introduce the “radical” legislation, is also striding into politics by campaigning for change to environmental law. “We need people to make some radical, almost fascist decisions: no more petrol, no more paper that isn’t recycled, laws saying we’re not allowed to build any more cars, or we can only have electrical cars,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying. The ‘Babyshambles’ star also appeared at the eco-friendly music festival ‘We Love Green in Paris’ in France to support green causes. ANI
