Hyderabad: Hyderabad police Saturday began investigations against leading Telugu actor Akkineni Nagarjuna, who was booked for allegedly abusing a woman journalist and for criminal intimidation.
Police sources said the the police may question the actor and also record the statement of Y. Sunita Chowdhary, who lodged a complaint against him.
A case under sections 506 (criminal intimidation) and 509 (insulting the modesty of a woman) of Indian Penal Code was booked against Nagarjuna on Saturday at Jubliee Hills police station.
