Prabhu Deva breaks his silence on his wedding to Nayanthara

Zeenews Bureau New Delhi: Tamil superstar Prabhu Deva has finally broken his silence about his impending marriage to Tamil actress Nayanthara. In a press statement, Deva (40) said that the date of his marriage with Nayanthara is yet to be decided. The actor-filmmaker was married to Ramlata for 15 years and his divorce is yet to come through. “I have been reading reports about the date, time, venue of my marriage to Nayanthara in newspapers and Internet. All I have to say is that, we will get married and the date will be announced to the world when the right time comes. Nayanthara stopped signing films when she was at the pinnacle of her career for our love and we wanted to get married with the blessings of our parents. Even now, if some good role like the one in ‘Sri Ramarajyam’ comes her way, she is open to doing it till the wedding,” Deva said in the srtatement. Earlier, Nayanthara, a Christian, got herself converted to Hinduism in a simple ceremony held in an Arya Samaj temple in Chennai. The actress at the moment is on a pilgrimage to famous temples across south India seeking divine blessings for a happy married life. The wedding is being touted as one of the biggest events in Tamil film industry and speculations are rife as to who will make it to the guest list. Let’s hope the wedding happens soon as the couple’s fans are eagerly waiting for this nuptial.
