Mumbai: Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who performed at the opening ceremony of the fifth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in Chennai, loves watching cricket. But she will have to miss the tournament due to her work commitments.
The 29-year-old will be travelling to the US Friday to work on her music album, and she will have to give the games a miss.
After performing at the opening ceremony Tuesday, she wanted to watch the opening match between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. But after meeting international pop icon Katy Perry after the grand opener, Priyanka had to rush to Mumbai for the launch of the promo of her Kunal Kohli film ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’, said a source close to the actress.
Priyanka has been travelling a lot of late. She came back to India a month back to shoot for ‘Krishh 2’.
