Raj Kumar Hirani’s pilot wife Manjeet in flying trouble

Mumbai: Many might not know that Bollywood ace filmmaker Raj Kumar Hirani’s wife Manjeet Hirani works as a pilot for Air India, and it came as a real shock when during investigation on the fake pilot scam it emerged that Manjeet Hirani doesn’t know how to fly an airplane! According to the latest reports, it has come to light that some pilots have named Manjeet Hirani as a non-compliant of being a competent licensed air plane pilot. Reportedly 12 pilots had written a letter to Authority of Air India requesting to discontinue Manjeet lamba Hiran’s services due to unprofessional behavior and lack of flying acumen. In connection with the `fake flying licence` scam, the India premiere crime branch team is probing matters as to who all are there involved in the racket which potentially risks the life of hundreds of people flying in an airplane. In the wake of reports of pilots using forged marksheets, licences of 3,000 to 4,000 pilots are being scrutinized by the DGCA.
