Ranbir Kapoor gets pricey, hikes his fees to 15 Crores?

Ranbir increased his fees for his movies after the success of ‘Barfi!’ and ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani’ to 15 crores for his upcoming films.

New Delhi: Ranbir, who has been touted as the next king of Bollywood after Shah Rukh Khan, has reportedly increased his fees for his movies after the success of ‘Barfi!’ and ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani’ to 15 crores for his upcoming films. For Abhinav Kashyap’s ‘Besharam’, the young Kapoor has charged a whopping 15 crores as the signing amount, a leading daily reported. He is also said to have received share of profits from the film. The same amount is being charged for the upcoming production of ‘Roy’, which is being directed by Vicky Singh. "`Roy’ is a two hero film. It has Arjun Rampal alongside Ranbir. But yes, Ranbir has charged his regular fee of Rs 15 crore for the film," a source close to the film said. Singh’s debut directorial project which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, is set to release in July next year in which Ranbir plays the eponymous role. The audience is looking forward to Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming movie ‘Besharam’ which releases this October. The film’s promos have already created speculations and expectations as Ranbir, Rishi and Neetu will be seen sharing screen space together for the first time.
