Ranbir Kapoor stalls shoot to help injured make-up man
New Delhi: Make-up man Hemant Naik, who was injured on the sets of Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ was rushed to the hospital by the actor and other crew members.
Talking to a tabloid, a source said “Ranbir was shooting for Karan Johar’s ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ in Manali when a huge reflector fell on his make-up man. It was a windy day and the reflector fell on Hemant’s head. Within no time he was bleeding and Ranbir rushed to him along with other crewmembers. While he was being taken to the local hospital, Ranbir insisted on going as well.”
Apparently, Ranbir stalled the shoot to take the injured make-up artist to the nearest hospital.
“And only when the doctors said that he was fine and would be discharged by the evening or the next day, did Ranbir leave and report back on the sets. Hemant and the others were touched by his gesture,” the source added.
Well, Ranbir that was really sweet of you.
