Ranveer Singh and Sushant Singh Rajput at cold shoulders?

Mumbai: The Khan cold wars are a passé. There have been rumours going around of a new rivalry arising between two handsome hunks of the industry. It has been allegedly reported that Ranveer Singh and Sushant Singh Rajput have not been on friendly terms with each other due to film offers.  

According to a report in BollywoodLife.com originally published by DNA, traces of cold war began after Ranveer was roped in for Befikre, which was initially offered to the Kai Po Che actor by Yash Raj Productions.

Interestingly, Sushant was to star opposite Ranveer’s alleged girlfriend Deepika Padukone in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela the report suggested. But due to date issues, Sushant couldn’t come on board and the role was passed on to Ranveer, who later went to win the Best Actor award for the magnum opus at various award functions.

“They’ve turned into bitter rivals because of how things played out at YRF. Both are barely friendly to each other, the awkward energy is visible when both bump into each other, they don’t party together and on social media, too, they don’t acknowledge each other’s releases. Ranveer generously tweets about every second film but for MS Dhoni there was complete silence from his end,” DNA quoted a source as saying.

The Gunday actor is busy with promotions of his latest movie Befikre which is set to release next month.

Meanwhile, Sushant is back in the business after he gave a power pact performance in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and is gearing up for his next Raabta.
