Recently Shah Rukh watched ‘Band Baaja Baarat’, and he was so impressed by the newcomer’s act in the film that he couldn’t stop himself from calling Ranveer ‘the new talent on the block’. SRK congratulated the actor and told him that for a first film, he was simply too good. Ranveer, on the other end of the phone must have been absolutely thrilled that his idol was talking to him. According to a source, the high point of the conversation and perhaps the best moment for Ranveer was when Shah Rukh stated that ‘he would be the next superstar after him’. The minute Ranveer heard this; he was instantly transported to seventh heaven. Coming from SRK, it definitely must have brought a wide smile on Ranveer’s face!
