Robert Pattinson to give first interview since Kristen Stewart`s affair

Los Angeles: Actor Robert Pattinson, who has been keeping a low profile since Kristen Stewart`s cheating scandal became public, is ready to bounce back in spotlight by giving a TV interview.

The actor will promote his upcoming film ‘Cosmopolis’ on ABC`s `Good Morning America` on August 15, the Hollywood Reporter said. The British actor, who shot to global fame with his turn as a vampire in `Twilight` series opposite Stewart, has been lying low after his girlfriend publicly apologised to him for her affair with Rupert Sanders, the married director of her film `Snow White and the Huntsman`. Her apology came after Stewart and Sanders were photographed in compromising positions by a magazine. It is not yet clear if Pattinson will hit more of the talk show and late-night circuit during promotions. He is yet to address the situation publicly. PTI
