‘Rude’ Ekta Kapoor needs an education at Harvard
New Delhi: Ekta Kapoor is going to be a student again as she’s enrolled herself for a business development course at the prestigious Harvard University.
The Queen of Indian soaps will begin her classes on the 3rd of May, 2013, in Massachusetts, USA.
“The idea originated some time ago,” said the Balaji Telefilms head in a recent interview with a daily, “Now it has finally taken shape. I am very excited. I would love to be a student again.”
The three-year programme will require her to spend a month every year at campus as she hopes this will help take her production house, Balaji Telefilms, further ahead.
Ekta has also hit the headlines for her rude and abrasive behavior after she called a 68-year-old man “an old fool”, showed him the finger and stormed off in a rage, all because he was in her way at a bank. Apparently she’s known for her hot-headedness but this incident became public after a series of Tweets from the man’s daughter sparked off a strong outrage.
While she’s hit back at the man in her statement and slapped a legal notice on him, but she hasn’t denied that the altercation took place. Her response was that the tweets were a “desperate plea for publicity”.
Whether Harvard can teach her ‘business development’ or not, our sincere Khwaish is that it does teach her how to behave in public.
