London: Funnyman Russell Brand marked a major milestone this week as he celebrated 10 years sober.
The 37-year-old actor spent years battling drug habit and alcohol addiction, and he endured numerous grueling stints in rehab as he fought to get clean, reported Daily Star online.
Brand, who is currently on a stand-up tour of New Zealand, took to Twitter to say that he celebrated his 10-year anniversary of sobriety.
"10 years clean... Thanks for all your messages of love... Anyone can get clean, one day at a time," he posted.
Brand received a slew of supportive messages, including a post from Australian singer-actress Natalie Imbruglia, who told the star, "Congrats (sic), that`s amazing! Well done."
