Russell Brand deported from Japan

London: British comedian Russell Brand has been deported from Japan for something he did 10 years ago, his wife Katy Perry says. The actor flew down to the country with his singer wife Katy Perry`s tour entourage, but was held by immigration officials, reports contactmusic.com. "My husband just got deported from Japan. I am so sad. I brought him all this way to show him my favorite place #tokyo dreams crushed. It was for priors from over 10 years ago!...(sic)," Perry wrote on microblogging site Twitter. "But of course I (love) my Japanese fans and the show #Mustgoon no matter the daily aftershocks or husband kidnappings!" she wrote. Brand has had run-ins with law because of his drugs problem. He was arrested in September last year over a clash with a photographer at Los Angeles International Airport. IANS
