New York: British comedian Russell Brand has shown his support for anti-capitalist campaigners by joining the demonstration in Wall Street.
Thousands of protesters are camping out at Zuccotti Park in Manhattan to call for an end to corporate greed, and several stars including Alec Baldwin, Susan Sarandon, and hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons have visited them.
Brand and his pop star wife Katy Perry joined the protesters Wednesday to show their support, reports contactmusic.com.
In a post on Twitter.com, Perry posted links of the protest and writes, "This is happening... I know my hubby rustyrockets is there now... still... reppin (representing) us both! Tell him to call his wife if you see him!"
