Sydney: Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe and his wife, Danielle Spencer, have spent 10 million dollars on a Sydney house after a four-year search.
He has reportedly settled for a six-bedroom house in the exclusive suburb of Rose Bay. The purchase of Te Puke, a 1909 house updated with a 1927 Arts and Crafts-styled second floor, ends the entertainment industry couple`s search for a family home for their two children, now aged seven and four, reports the Sydney Morning Herald. The house is set on 1200 square metres overlooking the fairways of the Royal Sydney Golf Club. Te Puke, pronounced ``teh-pook-eh``, is Maori for hill, and last traded at 5.5 million dollars in 2001.
