Mumbai: If spending quality time with loved ones counts, then Saif is 2.5 times as good a lover as he is a father. Well, he is apparently not a very happy figure for the family man, but good enough for a lover-boy. The hitch lies in the fact that Kareena’s darling ‘Saifu’ is a father of two young kids who are in a very impressionable age, and who might be needing their father more than the bombshell might be realising. While Saif’s daughter Sarah (elder sis) has a mind of her own, little bro Ibrahim is learning to SMS! It has been reported that when the children visit, Bebo keeps herself busy with her shooting assignments and script sessions, and the dad gets time to concentrate on his children.
Sarah enjoys watching films with her friends (or having special conversations with her daddy), and little Ibrahim is a spitting image of Saif.
“He sends me two word SMSs,” said the proud father. And they invariably read ‘Hi Dude’ (yeah, he calls his dad that!). However, Saif doesn’t encourage his children to hang around him for too long on film sets. “I find that an intrusion on their privacy,” says the protective father. “And Ibrahim hates being surprised by the paparazzi,” he adds.
Responsible move Saif, but it would be good if you revise your visiting hours with the kids too, for it is rather painful to realise that the kids of one of the reigning Khans of Bollywood get to spend so little time with their father.
