New Delhi: While the Maharashtra polls are underway, Bollywood star Salman Khan has also cast his vote in Mumbai, and done the needful.
While speaking to reporters, he urged the young brigade of the country to be more responsible and take an effort to come out and vote.
Salman said that as a dutiful citizen of the nation, it should be an individual's responsibility to make sure that the right person is elected. Adding that women's safety is one of the primary concerns, he also mentioned about the cleanliness drive, which each and everyone must think about.
He also mocked and disapproved of those people, who did not turn out to vote and are probably enjoying this as a public holiday. The `Dabangg` actor has always been proactive when it comes to voting and electing the right candidate. He appealed to all, saying one must step out and vote--only then can the nation truly progress.
Other early voters from Bollywood include Abhishek and Jaya Bachchan, Rekha, Riteish Deshmukh, Anupam and Kirron Kher.
