Salman Khan joins PM Modi's 'Clean India Campaign'!

A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the much-talked about 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' (Clean India Campaign), Bollywood actor Salman Khan today accepted his invite and promised to do his bit towards making India neat and clean.

New Delhi: A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the much-talked about 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' (Clean India Campaign), Bollywood actor Salman Khan today accepted his invite and promised to do his bit towards making India neat and clean.

Salman took to micro-blogging site Twitter and posted:

“Me & my Foundation accept the invite from our honourable Prime Minister for Swachh Bharat and will give our 100% for #MyCleanIndia”.

PM Modi named several noted personalities from various fields of work to come forward for this campaign, in making India a better place to live. He urged the people to dedicate at least 100 hours a year towards cleanliness. He added, “"If we make it a public movement, we can make our country being counted as one among the cleanest nations,".

Earlier, actor Aamir Khan and actress Priyanka Chopra too accepted the invites by the PM.
