Salman Khan launches `Kick` mobile game

New Delhi: Salman Khan fans are in for another treat with a mobile game app that has been launched in tune with the theme of the movie. The superstar launched the game himself, even though he admitted that he is not much of a game buff. As in the movie, the game is also about a playable characted called Devil, (Salman`s name in the movie) who acts as the desi Robinhood and robs the rich and corrupt and deposits that money in the bank for the needy. The playable character has to get through obstacles like security alarms, lasers, manholes, street corners and more. The game has to be played in a stealth style and demands escape from cops. "At our house, Arhaan (son of Arbaaz Khan), and Nirvaan and Yohan (both sons of Sohail Khan) are good in it. I am interested in sports and not games," he added. The game was announced by the actor and Disney India`s Interactive business. "We wanted to create an interactive experience of our movie for fans. The mobile game developed by Disney India is exciting and easy to play, it is engaging. I hope my fans will enjoy playing the game," the actor said. Actress Jacqueline Fernandez and director Sajid Nadiadwala were also present at the event. Other Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Hritik Roshan, Rajinikanth have already made a foray by launching games of their respective films like `Ra.One`, `Krrish 3` and `Kochadaiyaan`. This game (`Kick`) is developed for both feature phones and smartphones (Android, Windows) to reach out to a wide audience of mobile users in the country. `Kick` is scheduled to release this Eid, and also stars Randeep Hooda and Nawauddin Siddiqui and the expectations from the movie are quite high. The film is an official remake of a namesake Telugu super-hit movie starring Ravi Teja and Ileana D’Cruz. With Agency Inputs
