Mumbai: Bollywood’s bad boy Salman Khan has all of sudden become warm and affectionate towards his close friend Aamir Khan’s nephew Imran so much so that the hunk of an actor has decided to become the young actor’s guardian angel.

Apparently, Salman liked Imran in ‘Delhi Belly’ and on last Sunday, he asked the young Khan to come over his place, Galaxy Apartments, Bandra to meet his umpteen fans.

However, since Imran was busy with his wife Avantika’s birthday, the chocolate-boy actor couldn’t comply with Salman’s wishes. Salman, who does not take ‘no’ for an answer, landed up at Imran’s pad to spend some quality time with the young couple and later took the actor back to his home to meet the star struck fans, thus teaching the young actor some valuable lessons in showbiz.

Talking to a daily, a source said, “Salman has grown extremely close to Aamir Khan in the last few years. When Imran went on Salman’s show ‘Dus Ka Dum’ to promote his debut film ‘Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na,’ Salman was extremely supportive. Since then, Salman has guided Imran whenever required. During the release of Imran’s film ‘I Hate Luv Storys,’ Salman even called Karan Johar to say that he loved the promos. However, now after the success of ‘Delhi Belly,’ Salman felt that Imran should connect to his fans in a bigger way. Imran being an extremely private person even deleted his Twitter account a year back. On the other hand, Salman is a fan’s star. Having realised what fans can do to one’s acting career, Salman wanted Imran to follow in his footsteps and connect to the masses.”

Speaking about the Salman-Imran get-together, the source added, “There was a crowd gathered outside Salman’s residence since it was Shab-E-Baraat and he wanted Imran to meet the fans. Salman told Imran how connecting to the fans is as important as working in films.”

Interestingly, in his upcoming flick, ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhann,’ Imran will be paying tribute to Salman by mouthing his famous dialogue from ‘Wanted’ that goes like: “Ek baar maine commitment kar diya toh main apne aap ki bhi nahi sunta.”

Well, can’t speak about Ranbir Kapoor but Imran Khan will surely benefit from Salman Khan’s friendship!
